Harvard Club of Washington, DC

This tour is limited to Harvard Club Members and their guests.

This is the inspiring and previously untold story of Mary Lumpkin, an enslaved woman, who liberated an infamous slave jail and transformed it into one of the nation's first HBCUs.

All Harvard Club Members are cordially invited to this special reception.

The evening will begin with wine and beer and a full dinner. Please join us and the MIT Club for this informative and timely event!

Seligman will discuss his recent award-winning book on the latent power of immigrant housewives and the riots that shook New York City at the very beginning of the 20th century. The Columbia and Princeton Clubs will join us.

This 1.5-hour walking tour will begin under the bell at the Entrance to Oak Hill Cemetery and finish at Martin's Tavern in time for an optional Spytini cocktail and perhaps lunch.

Join us for this inspiring true story about heart, heritage, and two people who believed in their talent—and each other—to become an international sensation: Gloria and Emilio Estefan.

Join us along with Susan Li of Fox Business Network.
