The Harvard-Radcliffe Club of Maryland invites all alumni and their guests to another very appealing cultural event, a docent-led tour of the recently
renovated Contemporary Wing at BMA. The transformed Contemporary Wing features more than 100 paintings, sculptures , photographs, drawings,
and moving image works in revitalized galleries that create thought-provoking encounters with contemporary art. Since its founding, the BMA has been
exhibiting and collecting works by contemporary artists, resulting in an impressive collection of 20th-and 21st-century art displayed in a 1994 addition
to the Museum.
Three or four weeks before the tour on April 19, we will be sending to you a full announcement, which will include more detailed information about the
renovated Contemporary Wing as well as RSVP and payment deadlines and address to send checks. Of note, payment is needed prior to the event due
to museum requirement that a docent-led tour be paid in the form of a single check.
We look forward to see you at this very special cultural event.
