DC Central Kitchen - Volunteer Event
Come join us for a fun community service event at DC Central Kitchen! We will be doing morning meal preparation that includes chopping, peeling, and other, related tasks.
At DC Central Kitchen, volunteers help transform 3,000 pounds of donated food into 5,000 balanced meals that are distributed at little or no cost to 88 nearby homeless shelters, transitional homes, and nonprofit organizations, saving them money and nourishing their clients.
