Our speaker will be Richard Rubenstein (Harvard AB 1959, Rhodes Scholar 1961, Harvard JD 1963).An acclaimed scholar of history, law and religion, Richard Rubenstein is University Professor of Conflict Resolution and Public Affairs at George Mason University. He is a faculty member and former director of the School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution, the nation’s oldest and largest graduate program in conflict studies.  Professor Rubenstein is the author of eight books, the most recent of which is REASONS TO KILL: WHY AMERICANS CHOOSE WAR (Bloomsbury Press, 2010). His topic for the evening lecture-and-discussion is as follows:
