2014 Dragon Boat Weekend
May 17th & 18th, 2014 Dragon Boat Weekend and registration for the All Ivy DC Team.
2013 was our first year for the All Ivy DC Alumni Dragon Boat team... over half of the boat were novices and we still won the championship race for our division.... We welcome all Ivy League participants and hope to increase advertising as this event becomes a tradition for all.
** Last year, while participating during the race weekend on the Potomac, I was approached by several people who are Ivy grads but who had not heard of our team through their Alumni Club... They were not happy to learn of the team over the race weekend... Please spread the word so that we do not have the same thing happen this year!!

At this point, Dartmouth, Cornell, and Columbia are advertising the event .... We look forward to full participation... Even if people do not sign up as paddlers, we welcome a cheering section as it is a two day event with hundreds of people and is a true community builder for Washington, DC...
