3rd Annual Patriot's Day Dinner in Old Town Alexandria

***RSVP by 5 pm, Saturday 4/19

Patriots Day is Monday, April 21. Please help us celebrate your favorite New England holiday by joining fellow alums from your favorite New England university for a New England-themed dinner at the Light Horse restaurant (named after General "Light Horse" Harry Lee, Revolutionary War hero and former Old Town resident).

There will be three-course meal, with each paired with a beer, all for only $40 per person (not including tax and tip).

-- The first course will be Rhode Island Clam Chowder

-- The main course will be an old-fashioned clam bake complete with clams, mussels, corn, and potatoes

-- Finally, dessert will be Boston Cream Pie

If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know and we can probably work something out with the restaurant.

The first course will be served at 7:00pm sharp. We invite you to arrive after 6:30 to join others for pre-dinner conversation. Feel free to bring non-Harvard guests, but please no more than three (to make sure there are enough places for the Harvard alums).

To attend, you must RSVP to the restaurant: lighthorseprivatedining@gmail.com or call 703-549-0533. You cannot register by contacting the Harvard Club. Payment must be made directly to the restaurant on the night of the event.

Because every course comes with beer or wine pairing, the Harvard Club of Washington DC strongly suggests that you do not drive to this event. The Light Horse is about two-thirds of a mile from the King Street Metro. You can walk or take the free shuttle that runs up and down King Street (at roughly 15 minute intervals). Look for HCW Past Presidents Mike Gaw and David Treworgy, who will be in attendance.

We look forward to seeing you on Patriots Day!
