Celebrate Patriot's Day with a New England-themed dinner at the Light Horse Restaurant

All are welcome to attend.

Dear Member of the Harvard Community:
Last June, the Harvard Club of Washington DC enjoyed a special New England-themed prix fixe dinner at the Light Horse Restaurant, located at 715 King Street, right in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, VA. This year we will be paying the Light Horse a return visit, but we’ve moved the date to Monday April 15. What better way to spend Patriots Day than enjoying New England food, in the company of friends from our favorite Massachusetts university, in the heart of historic Old Town Alexandria, in a restaurant dedicated to the memory of a famed Revolutionary War general? We hope to make the Patriots Day dinner an annual tradition.
The menu will be fixed although it is yet to be announced.  There will be three courses, each course served with a pre-selected beer/cider pairing (as was the case last year). The cost will be $55 per member and $65 per non-member. Feel free to bring guests, but please no more than three. The first course will be served at 7:00pm sharp. We invite you  to arrive after 6:30 to join others for a cocktail and pre-dinner conversation.
Register now as we anticipate a full house! You can sign up through the Harvard Club of Washington DC website.  Please do not contact the restaurant directly. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know and we can probably work something out with the restaurant.
Because every course comes with a beer or cider pairing, the Harvard Club of Washington DC strongly suggests that you do not drive to this event. The Light Horse is 0.7 miles from the King Street Metro. You can walk or take the free shuttle that runs up and down King Street (at roughly 20 minute intervals).
We look forward to seeing you on Patriots Day!
