Tour of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cathedral + Iconography Presentation

St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cathedral at 3500 Massachusetts Avenue NW, not far from the National Cathedral was built in the style of the twelfth century Cathedral of St. Dmitry in Vladimir, Suzdal. The interior is completely finished in awe-inspiring Russo-Byzantine frescoes and icons.
Join us for atour of the cathedral and choir loft, viewing (photography permitted) of the frescoes and icons and a presentation on Russo-Byzantine iconography by local iconographer Irina Belakova. To learn more about Ms. Balakova click below:
