On March 5, 2013, at 6:30 pm at China Garden Restaurant in Rosslyn, VA, the Harvard Law School Alumni Association of DC will hold a special event for all Harvard Alumni and their guests - an evening of fun, fellowship, lively panel and audience discussion and a delicious, 7- course Chinese banquet with cocktail hour.
The panel will discuss how in-house attorneys advise business teams on projects that turn risk mitigation for transactions, possible litigation and strategic decisions into means of driving revenue for the enterprise. Panelists from Harvard Business School will explain their goals in consulting with attorneys and panelists from Harvard Law School will detail experience in driving growth by mitigating risks while achieving legal compliance, negotiating effective transactions and counseling business teams in the development of business solutions.
Sonny Bloom, President of CollectRX and a former President of the HBS Alumni Association of DC will give the business perspective, and Al Lambert, Senior Counsel at Boeing, and Bruce Gottlieb, General Counsel at Atlantic Media Company will provide the legal side, while Andrea Charters, Vice President & Associate General Counsel, Rosetta Stone Inc., will moderate. Glenn Ivey, President of the HLS Alumni Association of DC and a Partner at Leftwich & Ludaway, LLC will introduce the panel.
Cost: $37/person
