Gridiron Club 2013 Reprise

You must register for this event by February 27 at 11:00 AM. Your tickets will be awaiting you at "Will Call". No refunds are possible.

The 2013 Reprise will be held on Sunday, March 10, in the ballroom of
the Washington Renaissance Hotel, 999 Ninth Street NW.
Because the Gridiron Club is a 501© (3) organization, about $56 of the
$80 cost of the ticket is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution.
The reception, which includes an open bar, begins at at 2 p.m. and the
reprise at 3 p.m. (Note that this is an hour earlier than last year.)
The program will end by 5 p.m.

Our members will have a ball at our show, one of the
capital's signature events. It is a reprise of an occasion we have
held since 1885, regaling an annual white-tie dinner with satire and
songs that skewer Presidents and congressional leaders, lobbyists and more!!

What you will see is Gridiron members -- including well-known faces
that might include John Dickerson of Slate, Al Hunt of Bloomberg,
Jonathan Karl of ABC, John King of CNN, Andrea Mitchell of NBC, Bob
Schieffer of CBS and Judy Woodruff of PBS -- performing songs and
skits in costume. Syndicated columnist Mark Shields relays the
speeches that were delivered the night before, which typically include
remarks by the President and a leading Democrat and leading
Republican. Running the musical performance is the director of the
President’s Own, the Marine Band, Col. Michael Colburn, who serves as
the Club's musical director.

There is parking available in the hotel and the Renaissance is
close to both the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro and Metro Center. We
encourage your guests to arrive early.

Dress for the event is business casual.
