Drinks, Dinner and Debate with Former Ambassador and Congresswoman Constance Morella
Bring your friends, family and colleagues. We’ll look ahead at the 2013 political landscape, discuss Presidential politics and talk about international affairs.
Please join us for dinner, drinks and a lively discussion with Former Ambassador and Congresswoman Constance Morella.
With more than two decades in public service even more as a teacher, Ambassador Morella’s insights into politics and policy at home and abroad come at a crucial time just after this year’s November election.
Representing Maryland’s 8th Congressional District from 1987 to 2003, she developed a national reputation as a leading advocate for women, children and families.
Congresswoman Morella served as Ambassador to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) from 2003-2007. She is the first U.S. Ambassador to the OECD ever to have served in the United States Congress.
In 2008, she was a Resident Fellow at Harvard University’s Kennedy School Institute of Politics. Then in 2009, she was appointed Ambassador in Residence at American University’s School of Public Affairs where she teaches “Women, Politics and Public Policy.”
Thanks to HCW Board Member Will Gray for arranging this event. The cost is $40 for members and $65 for nonmembers.
