Indian Cooking Class w/full luncheon at Heritage India

Al members and their guests are welcome to attend

 All reservations made after the 15th of May will be $40.00. Please undestand that we can not admit walk-ins.

This cooking class will be lead by Ms. Mitu Tuli, a native of Calcutta, India, and owner of Heritager India. Ms. Tuli traine at the Oberoi School of Hotel Management. Prior to coming to America, she and her husband established “Jewel of India” restaurants in Frankfurt, Offenbach, and Wiesbaden, Germany, and in  Prague, in the Czech Republic.She will be accompanied by Chef Dawa Tamang, an native of  Nepal  and excutive chef of Heritage India. Students of all ages are welcome to attend.

About Heritage India: The reastaurant has achieved lofty goals since 1999 when it first graced our neighborhood. Heritage India has been included in the Washingtonian’s 100 Very Best Restaurants in DC since the year after it opened.

Starters-Tawa Fish Fry ( pan seared Tilapia )

Entrees- Chicken in Almond Sauce / Potatoes and Cauliflower/ Fresh Peas and Mushroom Curry/ Fresh Lentils of the Day/ Saffron Pillau Rice/ Butter Naan


Dessert - Indian Rice Pudding

Just a note here lentils-rice and bread are not demonstrated in the cooking
 class as they take a really long time to cook.


 We will give out recipes for those who are interested.
