Join us for an evening of exceptional non-partisan company and conversation at the Whittemore House, home of the Woman’s National Democratic Club.

The Whittemore House is an elegant historic mansion centrally located in Washington’s fashionable Dupont Circle. Built in the late 19th century as a private residence, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and pays tribute to the English Arts and Crafts movement and American “Shingle Style” architecture.

Nine enchanting rooms of varying size make it an ideal setting for private parties, weddings and special events. Each is unique in character and beautifully furnished with antiques, art, and political memorabilia. The mansion is special in that none of its public rooms are square or rectangular.

Metro/parking: The Whittemore House mansion is on New Hampshire Avenue, a half block Northeast off Du Pont Circle and 2 minutes walk from the Du Pont Metro Station (Red Line). For those driving, there are 3 parking garages nearby, and street parking, while always limited, improves after 6:30.
