DACOR-Bacon House
1801 F Street, NW (at 18th Street)
Washington, DC 20006
The Stanford Club of Washington D.C. invites you to the Ivy Singles Social Club Spring Garden Party! Our venue is the elegant and historic DACOR-Bacon House (built 1824-25), home to several Supreme Court Justices, a Maryland governor and U.S. Congressman from New York, Robert Low Bacon and his wife, Virginia Murray Bacon. The DACOR-Bacon House and Foundation now serve as a “place to facilitate international peace and understanding” as well as a conference and meeting place for Diplomatic and Consular Officers, Retired (DACOR).
The garden will be bursting with spring colors of dogwoods and azaleas in full bloom. Mingle with fellow Ivy Alum as you feast on hot and cold hors d'oeuvres and enjoy a fine selection of wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks from a cash bar. Consistent with our early evening outdoor surroundings, please come dressed in your choice of garden party, cocktail, business or business casual attire.
