What is the DC Market Worth? The Washington Real Estate Investment Trust has been investing in the D.C. region for 50 years. Michael Paukstitus, WRIT’s senior vice president of real estate, will talk about how his company coped with the economic downturn, how its regional focus has adapted to a changed market, and his thoughts on where commercial real estate in the District is headed in the near future. We'll also learn about how WRIT operates. Prior to WRIT, Mr. Paukstitus was a Principal of Coldwell Banker Commercial Capitol Realty Services and was the COO for the DC Metro Region of The Prudential Realty Group.
