This year we have sets of passages under various themes from Chamber Muusic, Dublines, A Portrait of the Arts, Ulysses and Finnegans Wake.  Our readers include Dan Mulhall, the Ambassador of Ireland to the US, Robert Aubry Davis of Public TV Fame, and Christopher Griffin, the prominent Joyce scholar located in DC.

REMINDER: Bloomsday by OLLI 2021 will take place from 3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.on Wednesday, June 16 via Zoom.  There will be a reading of linked passages followed by a 1-hour documentary film.  The website for this free event is at BLOOMSDAY BY OLLI 2021 and includes the script, draft program and the documentary film.

PRACTICE SESSION JUNE 9:  Our practice session has evolved into a dress rehearsal dry run in the sense that Jesse Williams, OLLI's maestro of virtual reality) has offered us a zoom site on Wednesday, June 9 at 3:30 PM when he and our volunteer Technical Support, Peg MacKnight will be present to help us do an abbreviated rehearsal of the program.

I will send out the zoom link for the practice session as soon as I have it.

This is mainly to check out technical matters - to make sure that everyone's audiovisual equipment and voices are functioning properly.  Limited coaching will be available - but more can be arranged if necessary/desirable.

Attendance/Participation in this rehearsal session is voluntary.

WEBSITE ADDITION: There has been an addition to the website (BLOOMSDAY BY OLLI 2021) - it now includes an all-expense-paid virtual tour of Ireland led by Rick Steeves.
