Back for Round 2, get ready to take part in the Tour de DCPL! Saturday, May 21 is date for this year's library bike tour hosted by DCPL volunteers. Mark your calendars now!
Tour is scheduled to begin at the new Tenley-Friendship Library and also include stops at the Cleveland Park Library, the newly renovated Georgetown Library, the Interim Mount Pleasant Location as well as the original Mount Pleasant Library (opening spring of 2012), and the newly renovated Petworth library.
At the event, look for the guy with an afro who is wearing a Harvard cycling jersey. We will be joining others in a bicycle ride open to the general public.The ride begins at the Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Library (4450 Wisconsin Ave NW) @ 9:30am and ends at the Petwort Neighborhood LIbrary.
