The University of Chicago Club of Washington, D.C., invites you to an Ivy Singles Social Club (ISSC) mixer on Thursday, April 28, at Casablanca Restaurant in Old Town Alexandria for appetizers, a cash bar, and the charm of Old Town in April.
Casablanca is a Moroccan restaurant that offers Moorish decor, "Casablanca" movie memorabilia, and a convenient location two blocks from the King Street Metro Station, on Old Town's busy King Street. For those who would like to continue the party after they leave Casablanca, just steps away they will find King Street's dozens of restaurants and bars. The cost is $25 for those who prepay by Monday, April 25; $35 at the door. (See details below if you would like to prepay). We encourage reservations, but walk-ins are welcome. The cost includes a selection of appetizers (hummus, grape leaves, spinach pie, and mini chicken kabobs), a cash bar for wine, beer, and soft drinks. If you plan to drive to Casablanca, there are garages in the area, but note that there is plenty of free street parking in the neighborhood. Guests are welcome.
