National Arboretum, R Street entrance -- Harvard Hikes will meet in the parking lot near the Arboretum entrance at 24th & R Street, N.E., off of Bladensburg Road. We will take a strenuous 4.5-mile hike on sometimes uneven terrain, with some steep grades both up and downhill. We will see the azaleas and dogwoods in bloom and the other foliage that the Arboretum features.

Please bring your own water and any snacks you desire, as there will be no lunch in connection with this hike. The hike will last about 2.5 hours. The hike is free, but a liability release is required to participate.
