RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY In making a reservation to participate in the HBS Club Skating Party on January 9, you acknowledge on your own behalf and that of people in your group that ice skating can involve risks of serious physical injury and financial loss, and you and those in your group assume such ricks, and in that regard release from liability and waive any claims against the Harvard Business School Club of Washington and any of its directors, officers, administrator or volunteers acting on its behalf with respect to this event.

Event Description: This is a family-oriented event with fun for all ages to celebrate the New Year. Liquid and solid refreshments will be provided. The public skating session runs from 4:30-6:30 PM, We have a party room adjacent to the ice from 5:30-7:30 PM.

The Cabin John ice rink is a magnificant facility - actually two large indoor ice rinks in one (plus an additional studio rink), together having capacity for 500 skaters. The rink is open year-round, so that we could hold this party any time of year. But a January event serves an energizer to help people get moving for 2011 (as well as an excuse to partake of warming beverages and seasonal comestibles).

Accomplished skaters will find this expanse of ice exceptional, and we will have an instructor present from 5:00 to 5:30 to give pointers to beginners. Hopefully, you will come to skate, but you are welcome to come only for the "apres patinage" refreshments and conviviality to ward off the winter weather.
