Patriots’ Day, the national holiday of New England, is on Monday, April 20. To celebrate, for the fourth year running, the Harvard Club of Washington, DC, is hosting a special, New-England-themed, prix-fixe dinner. What better way to spend Patriots’ Day than enjoying New England food in the company of friends from our favorite New England university, in the heart of historic Old Town Alexandria, in a restaurant dedicated to the memory of a famed Revolutionary War general? The cost is $40 per person (not including tax and tip). The meal will have three courses, each with a beer or wine pairing. Feel free to invite guests, up to three, since we anticipate the dinner to sell out and want to have as many places as possible for Harvard alums. We invite you to arrive as early as 6:30pm to join us for pre-dinner conversation and networking before the first course is served at 7:00pm:

1st Course: Smoked Cod Cakes with Spring Radish Salad and Peak Organic Pilsner Vinaigrette

2nd Course: New England Clam Bake, Served Family-style

3rd Course: Boston Cream Cannolis

Because alcohol will be served, the Harvard Club of Washington, DC, strongly suggests that you do not drive to and from this event.

The Light Horse is about two-thirds of a mile from the King Street Metro. You can walk from the Metro or take the free shuttle that runs up and down King Street (at roughly 15 minute intervals).

Look for HCW Past Presidents Mike Gaw and David Treworgy, who will be in attendance.

We look forward to seeing you on Patriots’ Day!
