Bread for the City Produce Sort

Join fellow members of the Harvard Club in helping sort and bag produce for Bread for the City on Sunday, July 28th from 2:30pm to 4pm. With the help of volunteers, Bread for the City's two food pantries provide nutritious groceries including fresh fruits and vegetables to more than 8,400 clients living near the federal poverty line.

Bread for the City is an organization committed to reducing the burden of poverty for DC residents. They provide food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services to help DC residents develop their power and determine the future for their own communities. Everyone experiences moments of challenge and Bread for the City hopes to support each client while treating them with the respect and dignity that all people deserve.
