Join the Harvard Club and The Washington Ballet (TWB) for a night of art, dance, and live music on Saturday, February 17 at the historic Kennedy Center Opera House. Before the show, the Harvard Club will host a private reception, featuring members of The Washington Ballet and the Artistic Director, Julie Kent. A world-celebrated prima ballerina, she is the longest serving ballerina in American Ballet Theatre’s 77 year history. We're excited to offer this exclusive insider's peak inside our nation's premier ballet company. The production also features current Harvard student and member of TWB, Sarah Steele.
About John Cranko's Romeo and Juliet
The Washington Ballet returns to the Kennedy Center Opera House with a live symphony orchestra to celebrate love and fate in an evening of unbridled passion set to Prokofiev's dynamic score. An intricate and timeless tale of two star-crossed lovers.
Event Timing
- The private reception is from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Kennedy Center. Please take the elevator in the Hall of States to the Terrace Level. We will convene right outside the Terrace Theater. A cash bar will be available during the reception.
- Show starts at 7:30 pm.
Tickets
We are opening this event to all Harvard alumni and their guests. If you are not yet a member or are new to the DC area, this is a great opportunity to experience a Club event. Through an exclusive Harvard Club of Washington, DC offering, buyers gain exclusive access to the private reception.
Two tiers of tickets are available: $40 and $78.
1. $40: Orchestra: Row H - Side SOLD OUT
2. $78: Orchestra: Row Y - Center or Tier 1 - Rows A, B
Show tickets will be distributed during the reception. If you are not able to make the reception, the tickets will be made available at "Will Call." Tickets to the last Washington Ballet event did sell out. All tickets must be purchased by Monday, February 5th at noon.
