Volunteer to Plant Trees in DC
The Harvard Club is organizing volunteers to plant new shade trees through Casey Trees, a local non-profit, on Saturday, December 2nd from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. We will be planting 50 shade trees between Foggy Bottom and Georgetown to create a vegetated buffer along the Whitehurst Freeway.
There is no cost to volunteer or specific experience needed. Volunteers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Space for this event is limited and advance registration is required.
