Volunteer with Special Olympics DC

Join Harvard Club members in volunteering at the Special Olympics DC Unified Bocce Championship on Tuesday, October 31st from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. With the help of volunteers, Special Olympics will set up the venue, record scores, organize athletes into their qualifying heats and present awards. No experience is necessary, just a commitment to providing the athletes with a quality event.

Special Olympics was founded by Eunice Kennedy Shriver to foster the acceptance and inclusion of all people.  For the past five decades, the movement has been changing attitudes and transforming lives through the joy of sport. Athletes are able to discover new strengths, abilities, skills, and success.  Special Olympics is the world's largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities with more than 4.9 million athletes in 172 countries and over a million volunteers.
