The Harvard Alumni for Education, Harvard Club of DC, and the OpenGov Hub are pleased to invite you to a stimulating panel discussion on how to promote inclusive opportunity and engagement through urban innovation.
 
This special event will feature a diverse, cross-sector panel of
individuals working to promote urban innovation, opportunity and civic
engagement in myriad ways. All panelists will address the opportunities and
challenges both of making the tech field more inclusive and representative,
and of leveraging innovative tools to enable civic engagement and inclusive
policy/decision making.
 

DC Council member Brandon Todd will address innovative ways to engage DC
residents, particularly young people, in technology and in local decision
making. Aaron Saunders, founder of LumaLab, will speak about the experience
of….. Chike Aguh (CEO of Everyone On) will discuss.... Nneka Ezenwa
(Verizon) will address the logistical challenges of achieving broadband
internet access for all. The panel will be moderated by Nada Zohdy, Manager
at the OpenGov Hub, a co-working community and network of 35+ organizations
promote open government reforms around the world.


Join us for a stimulating evening of reflection and community discussion on
how to ensure all city residents can benefit from the growth of technology
and innovation in the District and beyond.
