Slim Doug will be giving a tribute to some of the hymns of his adolescence (and maybe some of yours!)

The free show will be at the Vinyl Lounge in Georgetown (the cozy venue part of Gypsy Sally's down on K Street which serves great bar food.) Slim will be giving a free hour-long show.
 
The tribute will include Knockin' on Heaven's Door, Tangled Up in Blue, Eye and Eye, You Ain't Goin' Nowhere, Wicked Messenger, It Takes a Train to Laugh, All Along the Watchtower, Gotta Serve Somebody, I Shall be Released, Blowin' in the Wind, Mr. Tambourine Man.

Directions: take Wisconsin Avenue south to where it ends at the river. Turn right on K Street and go three blocks west. Metered street parking is available on K Street or the surrounding area.  For free parking, put your car in the Colonial Parking Garage at 3205 K Street, just west of Wisconsin Avenue, and next to Mr. Smith’s of Georgetown. (See Caleb at the Vinyl Lounge door for reimbursement.) Easy pedestrian access to Vinyl Lounge: From M Street walk down 34th Street, take the walking bridge over the canal, take a hairpin left onto the towpath, then descend the first steps on your right.
 
The Vinyl Lounge is in Gypsy Sally, located at 3401 K Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20007 (K Street is also known as Water Street and is located below the Whitehurst Freeway).  Please note that most car GPS systems as well as Google Maps and MapQuest have incorrect directions — our venue is located below the Whitehurst Freeway (not on it!).
