Volunteer To Build Lightsabers With Kids 

Join the Museum of Science Fiction at the USA Science and Engineering Festival, the country's biggest celebration of STEM! The Museum of Science Fiction is a unique nonprofit in DC and was founded by a recent Harvard Alum, Mandy Sweeney, in 2013.

 

The nonprofit organization is looking for volunteers to help teach kids how to build lightsabers and encourage their interest in STEM! On the job training is provided! We are looking for volunteers to work a 4-hour shift on Sunday April 8th, however the festival runs from Friday to Sunday. If you woud like to volunteer but are available on a different day, email communityservice@harvard-dc.org to learn about additional volunteer shifts.
