The Harvard Club is Going to Wolf Trap!
Please join us at a performance of Lyle Lovett & His Large Band on Friday, August 11th.
Best known for his high-quality songwriting filled with wit and charm, Lyle Lovett has built his career “on the reputation of his live shows, which routinely sell out theaters and concert halls coast to coast” (The New York Times). As a member of the Harvard Club group, you will receive discounted admission to this popular Wolf Trap concert and get to enjoy America's only National Park for the Performing Arts.
The Wolf Trap Filene Center is a beautiful outdoor ampitheater designed to be in harmony with its national park setting. More than half of the 7,000 seats are under cover in a pavilion with open sides that look out onto the tall trees and rolling hills of the park. The remaining seats are uncovered and on a sloping lawn.
We will have a special HCW pre-show gathering at the picnic area between Ovations Restaurant and the Encore Circle Lounge beginning at 6:30pm on the Wolf Trap picnic grounds. Look for the Harvard banner!
Plan to arrive early and enjoy a glass of wine or a casual meal at the park before the show. Bring your own food and beverages or you can pre-order a picnic at https://www.ovationsva.com/order/. We'll head into the Filene Center for the concert at 7:45 pm for the concert. A rare accommodation for any concert venue, Wolf Trap lets you bring your food and drinks (including alcohol) to enjoy on the lawn during shows. After we enter the ticket gates for the concert, you will be able to purchase more food, snacks, and beverages at Filene Center Concessions. You can only bring beverages to your seat in the pavilion.
Our block of tickets is sold out, but you can still join in the fun. Just get your tickets and join us for the gathering at the picnic area before the concert.

Tickets for the concert pavilion seating are normally $42 plus ticket fees, which may be more than $10.
