Rethinking Stress, Success, and Emotional Wellness In High School
Featuring the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Cross-Cultural Student Emotional Wellness
Led by Justin A. Chen, MD, MPH. Dr. Chen is a psychiatrist at the Mass General Depression Clinical and Research Program and Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. His research and clinical interests are in the areas of cross cultural psychiatry, stigma, and mental health services disparities. He has been funded by Dupont-Warren and Livingston research fellowships from Harvard Medical School to study illness beliefs of depressed Chinese immigrants, and the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care Innovation Fellowship to help improve engagement of minorities into mental health treatment at South Cove Community Health Center.
This event is open to students, parents, teachers, counselors, and community members. You don't need to be affiliated with TJ in order to attend this event. All are welcome!
