Neil Greenberg is a writer for The Washington Post, specializing in sports analytics. He is a self-described "geek" (as opposed to "nerd"). who uses complex mathematical analyses to provide fans with unique new insights and information about players and teams.
In addition to his articles in The Washington Post, you can find Neil's work on the Fancy Stats blog where he covers all pro sports as well as college football and basketball.
Neil has served as ESPN Insider's NHL analytics expert and is a regular guest on Sirius® XM NHL Radio™.
This past spring Neil was featured on a panel presented by ESPN at the MIT Sloan School Sports Analytics Conference entitled "Serving the Sports Fans with Analytics."
This event promises to be both intellectually informative and entertaining as you will see sports from a totally different perspective.

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING
This event will take place at Maggiano’s Little Italy, 5333 Wisconsin Avenue NW, in the Chevy Chase section of DC, near the Maryland state line.
Underground parking is available in the Chevy Chase Pavilion at a discounted price when you get your parking receipt stamped at the restaurant and park after 5 p.m. for fewer than four hours. Entry is from Military Road.
Via Metro, get off at Friendship Heights on the Red Line and take the elevator up to Maggiano’s.
ACCESSIBILITY
Elevators bring people from the garage and Metro up to street level. Once inside Maggiano’s there is an elevator to the second floor where our dinner meeting will be held.
