  “Architecture of Monuments”, is the subject of Mr. Leigh's  talk.

 

The Harvard Club is pleased to be joined by both the MIT Club and the Princeton Club  on this spendid occasion.  

 

The evening will begin with a full catered dinner  including wine/ beer/soft drinks/coffee/tea, etc.

Catesby Leigh was born and raised in Washington and has been writing about public art and architecture for over twenty years. After graduating from Princeton, he spent most of the 1980s in South America as a correspondent for the Cox Newspaper chain. While traveling around that region, he became increasingly interested in the sharp decrease in visual amenity in postwar urban environments. Mr. Leigh's art and architecture commentary has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Weekly Standard, National Review, First Things, City Journal, Arts&Antiques, and other publications.
