Ivy Singles Social Event at the Embassy of Slovenia
All singles are welcome to attend. Most attendees of Ivy Singles events are in their 40's, 50's, or 60's.

Enjoy wine, hors d'oeurve, the work of local artists, a raffle, and a presentation about Slovenia. Meet diplomats. You can also experience a relaxing energy practice from Japan. 30% of all art sales will benefit Charlie's Place, a homeless service center in Washington, DC. The Republic of Slovenia, formerly part of Yugoslavia, lies at the heart of Europe, where the Alps face the Pannonian plains and the Mediterranean meets the Karst area which is famous for its caves and natural springs. Slovenia borders Austria to the north, Hungary is to the east, Croatia to the south, and Italy to the west. The embassy is one of the most modern in Washington. It was built in 2007 by Monarc Construction, the most famous embassy builder in the US. By metro: Take the north exit of the Dupont Metrorail station. Then, either take a Mass Ave bus (N2, N4, N6, or 37) north, or walk about 15 minutes north on Massachusetts Ave, then north on 24th St to California Avenue. It's about 15 minutes walk.
