Harvard’s Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES) and Center for Hellenic Studies (CHS) invite Washington-DC area alumni to a special event on January 24, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm at CHS, 3100 Whitehaven Street, NW, Washington, DC.  Harvard alumna Dr. Elizabeth Sherwood Randall (AB ’81) will deliver remarks on current global challenges, and a cocktail reception will follow.


 

At this heightened moment of international tension, don’t miss the opportunity to hear insights from Dr. Sherwood-Randall, who has had a distinguished career in American public service, including serving as Deputy Secretary Energy, Special Assistant to the President on the National Security Council and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense.  CES and CHS staff will attend this event, along with a small group of Harvard undergraduate students participating in the two Centers’ inaugural Europe in Washington Workshop on Democracy and Transatlantic Relations.
